Welcome to the online home of the New Forest Guild.
The NFWSD was formed 30 years ago and presently has approx 60 members of various age groups, skills and interests but who above all share a love of textiles and a desire to learn some of the skills required to hand produce them, as has been carried out for hundreds of years. However we also look to the future and the new technologies emerging. We are affiliated to the National Association of Guilds of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers and share its aims of preserving and promoting our core skills of weaving, spinning and dyeing to improve the standard of these crafts and encourage public awareness. We hope you will enjoy finding out more about us and may be tempted to visit our regular guild meetings.
